VACATION - Paid Vacation time off.
Vacations must be taken during the year they are earned and cannot be carried over into the next year without written permission of Management. Preference in choice of vacation time is given in accordance with length of service, but arrangements that would impair your department’s efficient operation are not permitted.
LENGTH OF SERVICE YOU ARE ENTITLED TO
At the end of the 1st year 5 days
At the end of the 2nd year 10 days
At the end of 10 years 15 days
Vacations may be taken at any time that is approved by your Manager. Vacation
requests must be in written form and should be given to your Manager at least 2
weeks but not more than 6 months in advance. In the event that you apply for a
vacation time that coincides with another employee’s approved vacation, and your
department can permit only one vacation at that time, precedence will be given
to the employee who first applied and not by seniority.
Vacation days may be used hourly. Example, if you have 5 days of vacation
coming, you may convert this into hours. You would have 40 hours of vacation
available to use as you wish. Any time used needs to be acknowledged and okayed
by your supervisor or Manager who will keep a running tally of this time. Your
time off needs to be used in no less than 30 minute increments.
HOLIDAYS -Paid Holidays
SICK/PERSONAL - Paid Sick and Personal time off.
EARNED PTO - Paid time off earned from your units collection total.
