PAID TIME OFF

SICK/PERSONAL - Paid Sick and Personal time off.

As a regular employee, you can accumulate a maximum of 40 hours paid personal leave. These days may be used when an employee needs to take time off for personal reasons or in case of an illness. Leave with pay is provided on the basis of continuous service as follows:

Length of Service Full Pay For

After completing 1, 2 and 3 years 32 hours
After completing 4+ years 40 hours


An employee may take time off with pay from available personal/vacation days for the illness of ANYONE of the employee’s immediate family who simply are incapable of caring for themselves and for whom there is no one else available to care for them.

IMMEDIATE FAMILY WOULD BE: Children of Employee or Employee’s spouse
Spouse of Employee
Mother or father of employee
Sibling of employee
In-laws of the employee
Grandparents of the employee
