Checking for property ownership in Wisconsin
If when you get to the page & it looks like you have to log in, click on View Disclaimer (towards bottom in red), then go to the drop down box at the top next to Public and choose Real Estate Property & Tax, then in the next drop down box over, choose Search properties.
When searching by address, use just the street number (no direction N, E, S, W) even with fire #s in the country. You don’t need to enter a city.
If you want an idea of how much that property is worth, click on the Parcel # in red. Find Select Detail and choose Assessments in the drop down box.

Some cities like Argyle have two different counties. If unsure of which county the property is in, go to:

Click on Quick Tools
Choose Look up a Zip Code (even though that’s what we’re really looking for)
Find by Address (Click this link to start here!)
Enter address
Click Find
You’ll see the address in a box. On the right side of that box is a big down arrow. Click it & it shows the county that address is in.
